    Hello everyone:

Just register and if only for education, I wanted to greet. I will not be possible to talk with you because my English is very bad, :( but always keep a close eye on what is in this place.

Best regards and good health to all ...

    Welcome Pacman.
Hey computer wizzes, is there some kind of program that a forum could use to translate other languages into english? Such a program could open the Forum to a much bigger population. I know there is such that individuals can use although I've never tried. Luckily most of the world is smart enough to be multilingual unlike myself.

Thank you very much friends. I was there in the google toolbar to translate some pages (not all), but the translation is still very bad and there are many things that I find not. But sure that this forum will help me learn a little more English. For example, to write I'm using the google translator, trying to make the sentences are as simple as possible to facilitate the operation of a good translation.

Nothing, I have to know some beautiful girl around here that I put the desire to learn English .. :D

    Welcome.

Its not perfect, but Google Translate is probably the best program for such a conversion.

Edited to add: I spent 15 minutes messing with the translator and Pacman scooped me.

The translator did well. with these corrections: did not find. and I know a beautiful girl here whom I have asked to help me learn English.
As you can see the translation is close enough for us to understand with no problem.

Perhaps he meant that he wants to learn English to impress the beautiful girl. And does not mean that she will help him learn English.

(I know, that was poorly written. I was thinking of the translation software)

Welcome Pacman. Don't let the language barrier prevent you from asking your questions. I find the members here are more than wiling to overlook any difficulties you may have in writing your question. Most of the time they will get the general idea. Your english was more than understandable. Remember, here in the states we have the greatest public education system in the world. Which means we all write prefect. :D

Put another way, Americans tend to mumble and otherwise massacre the English language so we have a lot of practice trying to figure out what the person we're talking with is saying.

    Hi Pacman and welcome,

We have a link to Google's translator on the front page of YachtForums. It's in the 'Quick Links' module, located at the top-right of the page.

I spent over a year tweaking a translation software program to work with YF, but when Google's translator came along, I abandoned the program. The Google translator is the best I've seen. It will convert 42 different languages. And it will do this for raw text, a web page or a complete web site.

Although it is not perfect, it still conveys most of the relevant information within text. As such, flash or static images can not be translated.

Pacman, su Ingles es muy bueno, so escrita mas..es mejor de la Spanglish yo oy aqui en Miami; no te preocupes...
There is BabelFish on Altavista which allegedly translates languages, although my Venezuelan clients tell me that "The main engines are due for an overhaul" turns out more like "You eat the grass of my father's lawn", so cuidado, amigo.

Photografias es un buen idea por ese Forum.

Thank you very much everybody for your answers.

Now I understand what the avatar. Excuse moi.

I always attracted me the United States, to the point of thinking about going to live there in the future if everything goes as deseo. Florida I like and I think it speaks pretty Spanish, so I would not really make empezar. Aunque I know that have been there about immigration. Here in Spain we are having many problems because many people have come en masse from other places with very different customs. When is small, there is little problem because people tend to adapt, but when they come in waves is to respect the customs of the host country. At the end there is racial hatred. A shame, but the sad reality is that if you are not careful with these things, you end up paying. I certainly would be very respectful and grateful with the country that welcomed me.

The "learning by a beautiful girl," I say in Spanish, and someone who knows how to translate: Decía que si me enamorase de una chica de habla inglesa, seguro que aprendía ingles en dos días. Así que habrá que conocer a una chica guapa, inteligente, buena y con dinero (esto es broma) para que se me pongan todas las ganas. :D

Aye I missed the original avatar...Was that a beatiful girl..?

If so, uh feel free to send it to me and the phone number as well..Not being shy here....:D

Don't worry about the language thingy too much, English is my second language as well.

(It should not be, America was discovered by Norwegians in 1013 and has been one of our colonies ever since..The language should be Odin's, not the Queen's..;) )

I think we have all managed to mangle it up pretty well, thank you. Remember English is the Lingua Franca of the Seas and the Air.

Gibberish is universal, just try reading an electronics manual in a foreign language.

Norseman ... sorry, but it was a picture of my ugly face.

Thanks YachtNews, yes, it is the Sunseeker 37M. This has me deeply in love. Does anyone know how much it costs? And any boat of similar characteristics that is better?
