Hi, Many years ago I was using my Fathers car to go fishing with a friend. On the way home he asked if he could have a drive, I agreed as he had been having a few lessons with my father and was close to getting his license. Needless to say that whilst it didn't involve water like that as the ditch we ended up in was only a bit wet it did involve a very badly damaged car and a very annoyed father. It took a long time for him to give me the car again after it was back from the panelshop.
At least the son wasn't the only one that took a jump into the lake. There was another car there on its roof.
