For you cold weather types that sail around ice bergs, have you ever harvested ice for water or to cool your beer in the ice chest?

How much did you grab, and how long did it take? :)

    Hi,

Traceys Arm Alaska, Reversed up to a big chunk, few strokes with a fire axe and a washdown bucket was about 1/2 full.

    Very cool. :)

I figured maybe someone grabbed a few big chunks as a "water reserve" or something.

    7-11 Commercial

Years ago 7-11 Stores had a great little radio ad that had one person trying to explain the product to another..... the 'invention' of ICE. "One person ask if he had every heard of it, and then goes on to say the Eskimos even made their houses of it"

Can't remember exactly how it went but it was funny.
