Hi. The same to you. BTW: Have you got your life jacket on at home to ward off the dangers of "flooding of Biblical Proportions" as one of your politicians has been quoted in the press as saying?
Hi, Flooding is bad in many parts of Northern NSW & QLD. Luckily we are OK, many though will start 2011 cleaning up & counting costs. However as for "Biblical Proportions!" don't think so, but if we need an Ark, we know who to call.
Hi, Maybe you should share that thought with the Queensland Treasurer. http://www.google.com/hostednews/af...ocId=CNG.90ed452c24b4c3a555ac6076fb1f566c.631
The news here says the flooding covers an area the size of our state of Texas. That's big. Bad way to shuffle in the new year. My heart goes out to those affected. In the mean time it looks like you folks had a good and safe celebration as we did in NY and most other large gathering spots. Of course wars still rage on. Let's all pray for peace in 2011. In my little corner of the world sirens and flashing light started just before midnight and about 150 families have been evacuated due to a propane leak at a distributor across the highway. Just east of here the air is thick with propane this morning. So far so good though. Hopefully it will remain that way. May you all have a safe and healthy new year. May that wish extend tenfold to all of our brothers and sisters, sons, daughters, fathers and mothers serving in the armed forces of every nation. Most of all may the leaders of those nations develop common sense and smaller egos.
And it's going to hurt on the second day, and third and so on. My friend, it's not about the year, but the age. I'm there with you. Happy New Year everyone.
May 2011 be a year of changes for the better, and building greater success on past success. Want a happy new year? Make it a happy new year. Don't sit back waiting for wishes to come true.
No sympathy from this side Carl! BTW: try a large spoon of honey, it works! Oh, another thing.....I do mean ORALLY!
