    Are you purchasing the ship or just taking over the deck?

    As an experienced Captain, you should know what questions to ask the previous crew. Most of the time you do not have that luxury and have to figure it out yourself.

    If this is the same Captain Rags I have met at various crew captain functions over the years you would definitely not be asking this question.
    I'm not sure if it is allowable but I will direct you to Superyachtos which has many boilerplate documents which I've used, with modifications, over the years.

    If that doesn't suit you, I have many others which I have used over the years with various sized vessels (Motor only).
