I have a 98 Carver Mariner 350. Two 454lxi's with V drives. Wondering if anyone out there with the same setup happens to know what the GPH is? I know it depends on what a person carries in it but a rough, educated guess would work.

A rule of thumb is that a gas engine uses 10 gallons per hour per 100 horse power-hour. My 37 Tolly had 330 HP 454s and used 66 gallons per hour at WOT. Cruising at 2700 RPM I used about 28 gallons per hour total and made 17 knots. Your actual GPH will be different but close to this number. Also I find that V-drive are less efficient than straight drives so your consumption will probably be more. Hope this helps.
