Found this image while killing some time this morning. It was on marinetraffic, which seems to get referenced quite often so I hope there is no problem posting this, if there is please delete.

Look at the railing at the bottom of the stairs.....clearly a person standing there at the rail....image appears unaltered as the persons up above are visible and magnifying real close it doesn't look like the pixels are messed with.

Well known yacht that should be easy to identify.

The whole area around "him" (note the color of the stairs) seems faded to me.

the fuzzyness is the result of crop and magnifying. The original pic is quite clear.

It's probably the spirit of the engineer. A good one is everywhere at all times.;)

If you look closely, you will see that the "ghost" is wearing a shirt with a big S on it. It is obviously Superman and he has just shown up to catch the 500 pound bomb that is about to hit the deck a few feet to his left.

Every boat is haunted. One only needs to spend a night at anchor to hear the cries of owner's past. And BTW... on a boat, we don't call them ghosts. They are Gremlins and they pop up everywhere...!

I don't think the owner of that Yacht is crying about much!!!!

Boats have been around alot longer than Gremlins - **** modern iconic little imps - maybe gremlins in the engine room but the "ghosts" get to walk the decks.

The more I stare at the pic is looks like someone staring up the stairs, hands in the pockets and Marmot is correct...there appears to be a big logo on the back of his shirt.

Can we get a location/link to original? Might help clear things up.

Even the ones that the surveyor, sellers, and brokers tell you "really, she's a dream, never a lick of trouble!"

There's a reason the ocean(s) are as big as they are. There are 10X more ghosts and gremlins than there are people. Bermuda Triangle is the Ellis Island of the Atlantic.

Or maybe the German OCTOPUS named PAUL (no pun intended) that 'predicted' a spanish win in the world cup has his tentacles all over the yacht! Coincidentally the yacht in question is German built. ;)
