    Hi Everyone,

Great site, Great feedback. I'm after a little help. I'm interested in buying a motor yacht in the USA for use as a charter vessel in the USA/Canada. I have a marine company in OZ which has a vessel purchased in the US and now in Survey as a commercial vessel in Australia. I want to expand my horizons and purchase another vessel for use in the US, How hard is this? How costly is it? What are the pit falls I should be aware of? My interest is mostly in older motor yachts Burgers, Browards, etc. Can I make this happen?

This depends on the type of charters you are looking to offer. If you don't plan to have more than 12 passengers it will be much easier. Beyond that you are looking at operating as an Inspected Passenger Vessel, which is beyond the scope of construction with respect to Broward and Burger.

    Thanks Ken
I'm interested in a 85 -100 range that could comfortably accommodate 6 paying guests. Would a Burger/Boward fill this roll.
