Genuine Lobster Yachts

    What do you guys think about the genuine Maine built lobster yachts?
    True, they are not as luxurious as some of the smaller yachts out there, but in the seaworthiness department they're right up there.
    I'm not talking about Sabrelines either, which I dont think have that real tough "go whereever" character.
    Any feedback is appreciated.

    For me the ultimate lobster yacht is "Morgana Blu"
    She was designed by the grandmaster of classic yachtdesign Franco Anselmi Boretti and delivered by Benetti in 1992. She stood model for the entire range of Morgan Yachts. A classic masterpiece which has yet to meet her rival in this class. I must have a sales folder with pictures lying around her somewhere. If anyone wants to donate a motoryacht to me, this is the one.

    Surely ya mean a lobster boat?

    What is next?

    Not a ski-boat, but a ski-yacht hauling water-skiers around the lake?

    Not a house-boat, but a house-yacht...?

    The front half of that boat in the first post does have the go whereever look. But the very low freeboard for the back half would be a worry to me. I like the more contemporary designs shown by Redman better.

    Well, none of these is "Morgana Blu" - but if these other Morgan Yachts ("Yachts With Flair" - http://www.morganyachts.com/) are any indication, she must have really been something. :p

    The Morgan 93 looks the most like Morgana Blu. She has a slightly steeper angle to the windscreen compared to the 93.
    Most significant difference is that Morgana Blu is build in aluminium with a mahogany detailed superstructure. The Morgans are build in plastic.

    ...one day she'll be mine... Question is; how old will I be than?:confused:
