    Hi there,

Yachts designed or styled in and out for and in collaboration with woman are not uncommon, Benetti's St. David (Ex. EKatrina, Built as MY Xanadu) and Lady Lara (Fendi themed interior), are only two of many. So the claim "The first in the world", is not true. It might be the first truly hideous interior, but that is just my opinion. Not to mention that Cleopatra is long gone to style an interior like that! Again, maybe i'm out of fashion! I don't know of many women liking anything other than gold in that design.

    Cheers,

    Alf

Ok, dudes....woman reporting in for analysis. Outside styling a bit freaky. Blingy lobby/bar/dining, cool for a day, but not sure I'd want to face that every day. Theater seats...give me theater seats. Not some show thing that you can't even recline. Or lounges. But I'll go with true home theater seats so don't like that at all. Plus don't you try to turn the lights down and darken the room and glitter gold sort of fights that. Bed sort of ok in a Cleopatra kind of way but with all that space I would have just made a bigger bed, like our 10 x 12 at home. And round just doesn't seem to work for me in a bed. What is it, tall people in the middle and short on the sides? We're like not made round. Ok, I give it a D-.

:) :) I wanted to mention that round beds appeals more to guys than gals but kept it to my self! I've got one! :D but it is in the middle of the room, no head board or posts, kind of abstract sleeping, throw your self on which ever way your body commands!

Thanks for your input Belle, good to know I am still in fashion when it comes to women's taste.

    Cheers all.

We have a round bed sort of thing in one of our living areas. Round bed with curved headboard or sofa back depending on what you want to call it. Nice place to watch tv. We have DVR too in case we miss something. It's like 7 x 7 I think. Had to ask hubby the size.

Gee...where do I start? I could go on for days...but I'll keep it short and sweet....right after I threw up in my mouth, I took a look at the interior...and if I were a betting man...I'd lay 3:1 the "designer" is a lipstick lesbian. I don't know of any Woman (Thank God) that would approve of an interior like that. The last solid white interior I saw was on Tiger Woods' Yacht. I still fall back on one of my axioms, just because you have money, doesn't mean you have taste. It's bad enough the new trend in Yachts are vertical bows (don't get me started), but I've been told they are here to stay, at least for the foreseeable future.

The outside is about as ugly as they come, but I nearly had a seizure just looking at pictures of that interior. would hate to inflict it on my eyes in person. Turn on a strobe light and I'd think I ate dinner sitting next to Timothy Leary and let him put the sugar cubes into my coffee.

Were I a woman I'd be very insulted by that.

Outside, the first association is squashed heels.
Inside, the first association... How to put it? - No, I'd like to keep my account.

    Customer specific design? Shure!
That one is a bit over the top, and very generic at that. Could be any house or apartment.

    Edit: spelling

LOL...Hey NYCAP...if she gets built, let's get an invite, so we can both hurl in the Saloon, and then again in the Master...you think they might get the idea then?

I love when she (the designer) is saying "you won't find a pool table on this yacht". Is there any yacht in the world with a pool table..?

    Hi there,

Yes, MY Grand Rusalina (Ex. Ulysses),the 192' expedition yacht by Trinity, forward on the middle deck, right below the bridge and few feet after center. But you are so right, it is said as if the standard fashion is to have a pool table on board yachts.

    Cheers.

Edit: I think a Foosball table too!

Erm, I hope the moderators don't dock me for this, but it looks like a floating bordello to me.

Hobie 16, sleeping bag, tent, and some calm water river in the Rockies for me :)

Would I love to write a review on this one. It begs for creative writing. I would finish doing the dishes, floors, and windows, put my hair in curlers, add some fresh lipstick, and talk about the meaningful parts of the boat. Location wasn't specified, but it must be in Vegas. Oh, sorry, it's still in someone's head - where it belongs (fur covered seat?).

What happens in Vegas, ought to stay in Vegas.

The exterior looks like something from Julie Verne and the interior I keep expecting to see Richard Burton step out and serve his mistress.

I was thinking more on the lines of Bobby Trendy. Pretty ghastly though.

As to insulting to women, Belle just found it hilarious. I can imagine somewhere in the world there might be someone who falls in love with it. Perhaps a fashion designer. That or a mad scientist. Can you imagine the owner talking to a charter company about putting it in for charter? Even that one person who might initially like it, I can't imagine they wouldn't get tired of it quickly. We all occasionally see something and think, that's wild, but I sort of like it. Then sanity hits and we realize we like it a little but don't want to own it. There's a danish furniture store we sometimes go to and walk around. Most interesting. But can't imagine what we'd do with any of it.

Interesting concept Alf. I can understand when you mentioned yesterday that you hoped to be back on your feet shortly. Does the round bed have one big circular pillow or lots of the usual rectangular ones?

    Hi there,

The health issues are not related to the circular bed. Anyways, lots of pillows of every shape, size, make and finish! Depending on the mood, the pillow of the day choice is made, I don't sleep much so I like to get the best of it when I do.

    Cheers.

P.s.: The bed is back home, not on a boat, I like napping on open decks when onboard if the weather is okay to do so. :)
