Anyone have any experience changing one. I look at it from underneath, hard to do and it looks like it will take some maneuvering to get at it. Any suggestions?
Hi, Have you ever replaced a faucet in the sink at home? It isn't very different as unless it's a hand pump type one you will probably find the same thing at your local Home Depot. They generally either have a large nut that goes over a threaded section or a collar that is held up by screws. Get right under there with a flashlight and have a look. You should be able to buy the spanner to fit the big nut at a plumbing shop or Home Depot. Don't forget to turn off the water before you start to loosen off the pipes!
If you want to practice before-hand I would try the following: Climb into the engine compartment of your car and close the hood. Then try changing the alternator.
Go to the plumbing supply house and get a basin wrench. Or you can take the sink out and access it that way.
