FS: KVH Tracphone V7 system

I know I will get some grief over my first post selling a high ticket item, but here goes... I figure the yacht forum has to have someone who might want this satcom system. I have a brand new KVH Tracphone V7 rackmount version for sale. I am a private seller with the unit at my house. It was purchased in 2008, but never got installed or even removed from the box. I work on satellite antennas for a large defense company and I purchased the unit from my employer at auction. It has been in the warehouse at work until I brought it home today.

The Tracphone V7 is basically your roll stabilized cable modem type satcom system at sea and there aren't many other fixed price internet subscription options for boats available. It is a really nice lightweight setup and comes with all system cabling, modems, and a wireless router.

The unit has a 24" reflector, so the radome is probably at least 26" wide. I would think that the roll acceleration of a 52' boat might be more than a unit like this to handle unless sailing in calm seas. I would classify the KVH V7 as a 100ft+ boat capable unit, but some folks may disagree.
