My wife and I decided to sell our aparment, and buy ourself a yacht.
We will spend around 80.000,00 € on that project.

Any ideas, old ship in need of restauration?
    Relativly good conditions ?

We are aiming on something around 15 meters with at least 3 cabins.

    Thanks for any ideas.:)

    Hi and welcome!

Maybe this forum is not exactly where you find the information you need, but it depends on what your intentions with the boat are?

Are you thinking of a live-aboard boat to use in a fixed mooring or are you planning to cruise the oceans of the world? Or something in between...

As you probably know, 80´euro is what you pay for a new 25-footer today. So a 50-footer for the same amount is either pretty old or in need of updating, maybe a renovation for the same amount again.

But you may have another price situation in your area, just remember that if it is a bargain, ask yourself why?

Here is a Swedish site where you can see what is asked for a variety of older live-aboard boats, mainly from northern Europe. This guy is also very particular in informing that this is often just the starting point when it comes to costs and work.

Hope this will help you find a direction anyway!
