The Ocean One is a production of Ken Freivohk Design portfolio. She is a 57.57M long mega yacht being constructed in Egypt and is very near to completion. In fact, she is scheduled for delivery in very early 2008. She features a flat and compact overall design that personifies the intended design.

Ocean One is of an all aluminum construction and features three indoor/outdoor decks and the other is below the main deck in the hull. This makes a total of four decks (Lower deck, Main deck, Bridge deck and Sun deck). The Ocean One is finished in all white with a black underwater hull as the renderings of Ken Freivohk suggested.

Ocean One has windows shaped in reversed half ovals to create a unique identity. These types of windows are not only for aesthetic purposes but also represent a practical way of providing natural light inward and views outward. Access throughout the yacht is provided by stairs.

From the bathing platform, there are two stairs - on port and starboard- that takes you to the aft main deck. While on the aft of the main deck one could relax on seating behind a large oval table. From there the Bridge deck can be accessed by traversing the spiral stairs on the starboard side. On the aft Bridge deck, there are two circular tables on either side of the deck. In addition, there is seating to service these tables. From there, the Sun deck is accessed via a portside stairs.

Once there, one will notice round and oval tables, a bar as well as a Jacuzzi. This Jacuzzi will be flanked by sun pads. Aft of the Jacuzzi and sun pad area will be a small helipad landing region. From the aft to the fore of the yacht one will see half circular seating forward of the bridge.

The Ocean One will carry up to 12 guests and the accommodation plan will house them in 6 double cabins. The interior design was designed by the Freivohk Studio and this design plan will be put into reality by Pino Meroni Yacht Interiors.

Performance wise the Ocean One will have an estimated maximum speed of near 30 knots. This is to be achieved by utilizing 3 X CAT 3000HP engines. She will be also Jet Driven.

This would be interesting, since this yacht has been "under construction" for many years now. Where did you find this information?
