has anyone replaced their ladder treads? Mine are teak and showing signs of better days. I'd like to get the grooved white treads but can't find them anywhere. Thought West carried them, but can't find them on line. any help regarding a source would be appreciated!

Cut them from 3/4" Starboard. Bullnose the edges with a router and then add the flutes. Took about 3 hours to build them and another hour to install. Total cost involved: $100.00 and they look better than the storebought.

Of course, then I proceeded to install snap-on carpet to the tops of them to make them comfy..

found a company called buck wood craft that sells the starboard as (anti slip). they also quoted me to cut and shape the 9 steps I need for $75 in labor plus the material.

so my next question is on the installation. I'm thinking of using those 2 part screws that come with a threaded barrel topped with a rounded top. saw a few smaller ones at Lowes. looking for a source for the larger ones. any help would be appreciated!

Search on West Marine .com for Fasco fasteners, Stainless barrel nuts. They have them as large as 3/8-16
