Orsosisland.com This concept of a floating island seems to be a unique take on a houseboat. It offers quite a bit of living space, but mobility seems rather limited as for the most part, it requires towboats for short-range positioning or freighters for long distance repositioning. It appears to have diesel power for real short durations.
Though somewhat more reasonable than the "Streets of Monaco" *ahem*design*ahem* from last year, this is hardly more than a novelty. Maybe some resorts would find a use for it...? How about the Wally Island from a year or two ago? At least that was a vessel capable of propulsion.
