  1. First Nordhavn N96 Shipped To Florida
The first hull in the Nordhavn N96 is presently in transit to Florida where she will be commissioned for her owner at Nordhavn's East-coast commissioning facility in Palm Beach. She is expected to arrive there in the first week of February and delivered by March 2016. The N96 is based on the very popular N86 hull and will naturally appeal to those owners who are willing to step up. At the moment there are four N96 hulls sold to owners and are under construction in various phases of build.
  2. Construction of the N96 is conventional fiberglass. Designed and built to the latest international standards, each new Nordhavn 96 can be built to ABS certification with +A1 Yachting Service rating for the hull and AMS rating for machinery and installation as an option. Twin MTU Series 60 engines rated at 600 hp each spinning 48-inch propellers through 4.59 to 1 reduction gears allow a transatlantic cruising speed of 10-knots. With over 7,000 gallons of fuel aboard and throttled back to the 9-knot range, this new design can run roughly 4,000 miles before refueling.
