    Feadship 67-meter Superyacht Hull 809

Dutch superyacht manufacturer Feadship has a number of yachts under construction at the moment. Two of them feature a design by Eidsgaard Design -who just released their brand new website-. There is a 57-meter which is Hull 810 and the one we are focusing on today is the 67-meter Hull 809. The new superyacht which has exterior design done by Eidsgaard Design. The design platform is on four decks above the water. You can't help but wonder that the overall concept of the exterior looks quite similar to that of another Feadship, "April Fool". However, the new yacht showcases revived styling with sloping structures aft and continuing winding style elements that complete the mast design. Most areas on the design where the bulwark would normally obstruct partial views outward, Eidsgaard 'notched-out' the structure to improve visibility outwards. A railing is introduced into the 'notch' to satisfy safety regulations.

The upper-most deck, the sundeck, there is a large jacuzzi on the forward end of the deck. Aft on the same deck is a large table to seat all guests onboard al-fresco and sun lounging pads with their own corner tables to match. Down on the lower deck, the transom features an interesting design generally not seen on Feadships. Dual staircases lead to the transom from the aft main deck. There are sunpads that can be integrated into the structure on both sides creating a unique appeal especially when at anchor. These pads will be useful because there is not alot of swim platform space. A teaked central aisle leads to glass doors/windows that then lead to a beach area. The starboard side features a large drop-down shell door that can be used to store a few PWCs and water-paddle craft. The fold down area is teak-finished and can be used to lounge on right by the water. On the upper-deck on the starboard side is going to be a slide-out balcony. This is probably going to be servicing a VIP-type suite. Feadship hull 809 is slated to be delivered to her owners for July 2015.

She has left the Caribbean heading for Panama. I believe she was in Antigua for a while.
