A rather secretive build emerged by Feadship earlier today. It was being put together at the Zwijnenburg Shipyard so it now has to be towed to the Feadship Makkum facility to be finished in time for delivery in 2024. It is known as Project 1011 and it is a 103-meter superyacht with lines by Sinot Yacht & Architecture.

Initial thoughts is that it looks promising. Always hard to tell if you like the design in this stage. I do like the bow design and hope to see more larger yachts following this design. Very modern looking.

The vessel has made it to Feadship's facilities where it will head into one of the sheds to be finished.

Looks like "Lady S", "Moonrise" and "Venus" smashed together.

I like the semi-enclosed work area on the bow.

If that is so, then that is quite the aesthetic change.

Interesting...a helicopter hangar under the forward helipad. Project 1011 began with a challenging brief. The owner stipulated similar amenities and living space as his previous yacht of 6,000GT but in a design of half the volume for easier access to anchorages and harbours. 15-metre-long tender garage shell door – the largest Feadship has ever built.

It’s sort of interesting seeing how he designed this yacht with a helicopter hangar and a 15mish tender. I would have thought U81’s helicopter and princess tender would have been enough.

It is smaller than his last 3 yachts. I think it would look better with a blue hull. Will he call her Ulysses?

Its an odd looking vessel, kinda stumpy, with it height it should be longer. It's a bit of a come down from his Norwegian built vessels

The owner also owns U-81, touch and go is all he needs for the chopper.

The engine room is also single height so as well as being narrow it also has a low ceiling.
