I thought it was the World is no Enough but I have looked around the net and seem to be wrong what is it??
Hi and welcome , It must be still TWINE with a top speed of 70 knots. Behind her the Wally Power 118 with 65 knots. Correct me when I'm wrong. René
Did TWINE actualy reach 70 knots? I read that while approaching those high speeds that she would become unstable. Maybe this is why they shifted more weight towards the stern by extended one or two of the decks. I know she was dubbed to make 70 knots, not sure if she actually did it?
According to this source she has a top speed of 70 knots http://www.wartsila.com/,en,solutio...2A,A9E80F8C-2674-48B9-A722-14BED97A3172,,.htm
Reviving this thread a bit... "Destriero" appears to have been moved. Not sure to where...if she has gone in a construction hall or what but it is said to not be out front anymore. This yacht won the Blue Riband for fastest Atlantic crossing. 76-knots supposed top speed so I think she needs to be mentioned here. Three GE Gas Turbines with 60,000 horse power.
