    can someone reccommend a decent, low-profile lcd TV , (19 to 24")that is viewable in sunlight, but don't cost 2 to $3000.- ?

    what do current yachtmanufacturers use on their outside tv's

    Take a look at the Sharp Aquos line of LCDs. I think their 19" unit can be had for around $300. They work well in a bright room. Not sure outdoors.

    thanks Guys,

    i tried already the sharp, but i am not satisfied with those as exterior.

    i have seen the sunbrite... like those, but they sure are up there in price.. the 22" is listed around $1900.- one big backdraw on sunbrite is that they are almost 5 inch deep...
