I have a boat in the Miami Brokerage Show. When I went into the engine room on Monday afternoon, I thought the exhaust riser blanket looked tired. I called Jorge Lange at DeAngelo Marine Exhaust. Within an hour he had a technician onboard for measurement. DeAngelo came this afternoon and in half an hour installed a new custom blanket that looks spectacular. I'm afraid to say that the price was down-right cheap because they may tell me they made a mistake.

My point in making this post is that when we have an industry specialist that knows what they are doing and and gives great service, we should spread the word. I met Jorge at a YachtForums FLIBS rendezvous a few years ago and have had satisfied clients whenever I have referred his company. But this small cosmetics only job at the last minute at a boat already in the show was one that didn't necessitate the level of service that DeAngelo performed.

    Thank you Jorge...and Carl.

I too have had 5 star work done by D'Angelo's throughout the years (from blankets to entire exhausts) and usually deal with Dave there, who is a great guy.

Mike D'Angelo works for Marine Exhaust Systems in Palm Beach County and I've dealt with them for more than 8 years. Never had a bad experience. Perhaps in all of our cases it's because of who we are and who we represent however, or it may be that they are just that good.
