The Long Island Maritime Museum seeks to preserve the dedicated craft of restoration and construction using time honored techniques. At this Vintage Boat Show you may experience an Old-Timers Regatta, Rowing Regattas, Antique and classic boats and engines, classic yachts over 25 years old, catboats, Moonbeams, old wooden Chris Crafts, and lots more! Don't miss the permanent exhibit of small crafts and the recently restored gems from the boat shop. Museum is right on the Great South Bay. Great waterside seafood eats a short stroll around the corner! Come by land or sea.

Hey, are you two related? If you haven't been to Sayville before let me say that it's a real nice town with a Main St. full of interesting shops. It's also a town with a Long maritime tradition especially baymen. Go to www.limaritime.org for info on the Long Island Maritime Museum and it's activities.

Maybe way back when, from the Farer family on the old sod!

I've been to Sayville, and once even took the "wrong" ferry to Fire Island!
