    It seems like it would be easier to just fly them to their destination. Any idea on where they're going or who owns them?

    Im not a pilot, but it looks like some of those airframes are extremely old and may not have been airworthy for decades.

    The barge run up the Hudson from the Intrepid to their new home near Albany seems to make sense.

    If I were a deck hand on that barge, I know I would have to give into temptation and sit in the MiG cockpit. That is a perk of perks.....

    Have a safe trip. Welland Canal has been very busy last few weeks. Made a down bound trip yesterday took 15 hours. Stuck behind a large Salty .
