    I have 8 one bulb fluorescent light fixtures in my engine room

    one quit working so I replaced the bulb. It only partially lit and within a couple of hours had no light.

    the fixture is very small so I’m not sure if there is a ballast inside that is replaceable

    any ideas on a led that would work?

    Scandvik makes some decent LED replacement fixtures. See their E-500 or similar, for example. Operating room quality.

    That wouldn't be fitting an LED "bulb" into an existing fixture, though...

    No, was putting back an identical bulb. But if fixtures are starting to go bad thought I might upgrade to led’s. I’ll check this out. Thanks

    Added a couple of these under aft deck. Super cheap and super bright.

    Trying to track down one of my favorite vendors. I recall he was in LongBeach also.
    SolarSeller
    The web site is down and trying another approach.
    He was the Thinlite expert and offered them in LED. Other light kits also.

    I have a note into one of his other companies asking if he is still into these lights.

    Update;
    No Joy

    Shame because this kid helped on lots of projects.
    Please find a Thin-Lite rep in your area. Great products.
    Sometimes their LED upgrade kits will fit into other mfg light cases.
    Sometimes it was a Thin-Lite product with another mfg's name on it.
