    how do you gain access to the engine of a Luhrs 28 hardtop for total removal.

    Remove all hatches and any other obstacles in the way, with out cutting things apart. Re- evaluate things after all is removed from above.
    Motor probably will have to come out in sections. I would remove the exhaust systems first. Then see if it can be raised up and out then.
    If not , more has to be removed from the engine till it can come out.

    No two boats are exactly the same in many cases unfortunately.

    Anyway , I always liked your Sneakers!
    I have a classic red pair, high tops of course.
