Since 1987, I have been a successful yacht delivery/contract captain in Ft. Lauderdale. I have delivered yachts from New England to Florida 140 times, East to West via Panama 10 times, the Great Lakes 28 times, TransAt twice, TransPac once, Alaska, San Juan Islands, Far East, Mediterranean, Adriatic, 17 years cruising the Bahamas, Caribe, Micronesia, Latin America inland rivers as far north as Minneapolis, west to Little Rock and east to Knoxville. USCG veteran (engineer), 100 ton master. Nearly 300,000 sea miles in 30 years of sea service. I specialize in solo near coastal and ICW as well as assisted delivery and new owner orientation. Cruise 'n Learn programs to the Bahamas for the owner and "pinch hitter" instruction for the mate. I am also a contract corporate pilot current and qualified in Hawker 400/700/800, Citation 550, Learjet 24, 25, 31, 35, and 36. I am single, sober and a non-smoker. For a detailed dossier, PM me with your email or fax number for list of qualifications and references. Regards

That's a VERY respectable resume!! There's something seriously wrong with this economy when you have credentials like these... and you're not in a position.

Try contacting Tim Prohaska at Pro Aircraft Interiors on Ft. Lauderdale's Executive Airport. 954-493-6525. Tim has two Hawkers that he charters (last time I talked to him). If he's not looking for a pilot, he has many customers that might. Tim does extensive re-fits of Gulfstreams, Lears, Falcons, etc. They do everything from interiors to avionics. He's been on Executive for nearly 20 years and has hundreds of customers that own jets. He's an old friend. Tell him I said hello.

Hopefully, as YachtForums gains more momentum, we'll find a position for you. In the meantime, I'll be conducting seminars with a number of brokers over the next few months, which might also aid in your search (as they join the forum).

BTW... it's nice to have you on board with us!

    Thanks Carl

I appreciate your compliment. The big numbers that I have put up are because I have not been a full time captain but a contract captain for MANY years. The flying is an ancillary duty (and passion)... one just goes lower and slower. All of the math is the same.

If any other captains would like to gleen any information from me about the many areas that I operate in, don't hesitate to post or PM. That is what this forum is all about... helping one another out.

I am also pilot for an air taxi service to the Bahamas and Caribbean in CE402, Citation 550 and Hawker 800 (for the high-end crowd).

"Beat to quarters if you please, Mr. Pullings!"
