    This a MacGregor, a boat powered by both sails and outboard engine.

    The hull is indeed half way from a sailing boat hull and a planing boat hull, which allows to sail under... sails or under engine, the latter allowing a 20 knots top speed if my memory is correct.

    saw one for sale (here in Israel...) the seller wants $9000 (1994 make)
    how much it will cost in the states ?

    I didn't know MacGregor made a 19' version. All the ones I've ever seen here are 26 footers. In any case, the cost of one brand new in the U.S. is $19,990 including mainsail and trailer.
