   Interesting article, probably not relevant to recreational boaters as much as it is to the professionals on the Forum who have spent decades immersed in fumes etc.
   As my boat has the old technology Detroit 12V71N’s, famous for their fumes and oil leaks, I will be more conscious of the issue.

   Yes it's true. I've gone trolling an entire day on sportfishes with the old style mans, mtu's, and even dd's, and at the end of the day in the cockpit you blow your nose and have black well.......stuff in it....and plenty of it from ingesting the fumes all day.
