    Have you all come across any design lookalikes? For example, a particular yacht might have been constructed and then later some other design comes up that looks starkly similar to it. Well while on the MondoMarine website, I had a look at their 50M design and the first thing that came to my mind was the MondoMarine built O'ceanos.

    Even though the two are from the same company, they are practically sisters in design.

    Have you all experienced any similar designs for totally different designers or companys?

    Or how about those Turkish yards that are making nearly identical copies of the recent Palmer Johnsons?

    Hey CODOG,

    I have never seen that thread untill you posted it. My first reaction was what was cloned after the Sunseeker in the two photos you posted. I was looking for comparision after the first two photos then I realized, oh shoot, that was the clone. I tell you, that looks clearly like a certain UK yacht manufacturer.

    Here's a recent new build yacht thats bears striking similarities to the US Navy Zumwalt Multi role vessels.

    I guess this is the thread that talked about that Look-alike PJ120 that really was a terrible knockoff. I didn't remember I created this thread a good while ago.

    There's a relatively new design on this about me designer's website and I cannot help but think that the design named 'Enterprise 77', it's mid-section looks alot like "ACE's" own. What do you guys/gals think?

    This one just appeared on radar...
    Apparently its 36 m superyacht MISS TOR YACHT 120 under construction at Orucoglu Shipyard in Turkey. Looks rather like a Sunseeker 130 Predator dont you think ?

    It doesn't look a "little" like a Sunseeker, it looks a LOT like one. I can guarantee Orucoglu Shipyard in Turkey will not see ANY exposure on YF!
