I sold a 2001 Cape Horn 65' trawler recently and the new owner is looking for delivery to Ft. Lauderdale. The yacht is currently docked in Bonaire, N.A. The owner and his S.O. want to make the delivery with a captain who is experienced in plying the Caribbean waters and is also eager to give hands on education and training. The owner has smaller boat and Canadian waters experience, but has little offshore experience. He is planning on an end of January departure for a straight shot to Lauderdale. The vessel is in excellent condition and had a close to flawless survey.

If you are appropriate and available, please send me a PM

    Thanks!

Thanks to each of you who have responded with emails and resumes. I forwarded them all to the owner and he is making his independent decision. I hope he has made contact with each of you.

I feel that he has enough qualified applicants now that there is no further need for captains to spend time pursuing this position.

There are so many qualified and interesting captains, if anyone else is looking to fill a position, I will be glad to pass along the resumes I have received unless I get word otherwise to withhold the information.

YachtForums comes through again! Many thanks!
