Proteksan & Turquoise completes 58.20-meter "Baraka"​

Turkish power-house in yacht building, Proteksan & Turquoise formally announced the delivery of their 58.20-meter "Baraka". Baraka was launched back in mid April and was quickly completed and handed over to her owner(s) by June 2010.

The 860 tonne yacht features a vibrant interior with the base color being white. Splashes of eye-popping colors accent many of the public spaces onboard. Even in the bathrooms, this colorful, almost sun-burst vibrancy pervades amidst more neutral base colors.

Of course last year (2009), Italian builder, Baglietto launched and delivered a 53-meter yacht also called Baraka. However, since then she has been renamed "Berkut". Now, there is the new 58-meter Baraka built by the Turkish builders at Proteksan & Turquoise.

The new Baraka features twin CAT 3512B marine diesels capable of pushing her to a top speed of just above 16 knots. At slower speeds consistently, she has an estimated range of over 5,000 nautical miles. Hull 51 (Baraka) is now completed and sailing joining the rest of successfully completed yachts by this renowned Turkish builder.
