ISA delivers 43.63-meter megayacht "Silver Wind"

Italian builder ISA has delivered another one of their many launches for 2014. This time, it is the 43.63-meter megayacht "Silver Wind", the first ISA 140. The exterior of Silver Wind is by Andrea Vallicelli with interior by Nuvolari & Lenard. This vessel is a hybrid vessel in terms of her power generation. She can be powered normally by her twin diesel MTU 16V 4000 M93L engines. However, her captain can turn those off and sail her at around 8-knots using electric motors.

In electric mode, Silver Wind's total fuel consumption is supposed to be around 90 liters an hour for a range of 2,600 nautical miles. On the interior, she has accommodation for around ten guests in five suites. Silver Wind is 43.63-meter LOA with a beam of 8.30-meters and a draft of just 1.53-meters. The FRP made megayacht is RINA class and up to MCA codes. She is an express yacht and made to go fast, she can hit speeds above 32-knots. At that speed constantly she range is reduced to around 520 miles. Still good enough to run through the primary cruising grounds of the Caribbean or the Italian and French coasts.
