  1. Fincantieri Delivers 140-meter Superyacht "Ocean Victory"
Italian large custom superyacht manufacturer Fincantieri Yachts announced the delivery of their second superyacht, the confidential 140-meter "Ocean Victory". She was built under project name Victory at the Muggiano shipyard. Boasting a design by Espen Oeino she appears somewhat similar to the yard's first build, the 134-meter "Serene". The 2014, built superyacht has an impressive length of approximately 460-feet and an overall beam of 62-feet. The interior appears to be a collaboration between Laura Sessa and Alberto Pinto. The 8,000 tonne hull 6218 has a number of high-end features as is expected onboard a vessel of this size. Fincantieri says there is an underwater observation room that should allow guests a unique underworld view perhaps while at anchor. Two helipads, the forward pad on the bow has a hangar for the helicopter one deck below and transport is done via a special lift/elevator. The yacht boasts a floodable large tender garage for a launch as big as 15-meters. There are six pools (inclusive of jacuzzis) onboard, a beach club, a spa that covers over 300 square meters. She is also SOLAS compliant and under Lloyds Register classification society rules. Top speed with her twin high-powered diesel engines is 19.1-knots with significant ocean-crossing range. Ocean Victory now has the distinction as being the largest and most advanced superyacht built by an Italian yard.
