And they have probably done it before, and will again.

Interesting video there of the 90 ft sinking, if we could see all of it, it may shed more light on the problem.

Yeah, bite me, if you go into lower compartments and e/r and see lines where salt water had been, to me it was a sinker, maybe to others it's partial submersion, some just like to be pick picky to prove they are still alive.

settling to the bottom to me is a sinker

UPDATE: In a press release issued May 29, Northern Marine addressed the yacht sinking. Here is their full statement:

On Sunday, May 18, 2014, New World Yacht Builders LLC (DBA Northern Marine) suffered a major accident during the launch of its new 90’ expedition yacht, as the yacht capsized onto its port side during the launch and settled to the bottom of the launch area. Fortunately, the experienced master and crew responded to the peril professionally and all aboard escaped, with only two employees suffering minor cuts. There was no property damage to the surrounding launch area and potential environmental contamination was negated as a result of instant response to avoid possible fuel leakage, of which there was none.

Sorry, but the medic thread didn't have the video of the 90 ft. You must have seen that when you linked to ********. Just speaking for myself I was being humorous on the medivac to the other thread but with your first post just thought it was a slip, like we all do, then you continued and I was confused how Northern became a part of this thread as I suspect others were. At least Old Phart was trying to direct you as well.

There was no ill intent intended, just thought you were confused as to what thread you were posting in. As to folding tent, I know nothing about tents so can't help you there.

Maybe it is a Canadian thing... I also noticed the video of the Northern Marine capsize or whatever on the ******** page.

I've found the ability to ignore certain nit-picky posters to be quite useful, go to your User Control Panel

    http://www.yachtforums.com/forums/usercp.php

and find the link on the left that says "Edit Ignore List"

Take a wild guess at what was very noticeable in the OP:

P.S.- So, what's the problem? It is on ********, too; as dennismc alludes.

P.P.S.- You seem to have a thing for ********.

Thought you were posting a link to tent sites?!

    Must be a north-of-the-border thingie. :D

I know what it is...we are not supposed to post info about an incident on one thread that we see on another thread, boy I did not know that, that will make looking at other non relevant data in threads not necessary, big time saver.
