  1. Day 2: 2025 PBIBS News
Day 2 kicked off and some announcements still were emerging from the 2025 edition of the Palm Beach International Boat Show (PBIBS). GX Superyachts unveiled their 34-meter RPH model known as the GX34. Moonen unveiled the interiors for the 8th Martinique hull presently under construction. Benetti released full details on the ready-to-build Project 'LIFE' concept. Majesty Yachts expanding its presence at U.S Shows with the U.S debut of the Majesty 120 and Majesty 140.
  2. GX Superyachts unveiled a 34-meter Raised Pilot House (RPH) model at the ongoing show called the GX34. GX Superyachts is a relatively new offshoot. They came to market straight off with their GX42 which currently sits as the flagship model. However, they just introduced the second model of their lineup in the GX34. The yacht is a hybrid vessel with several options available to customers on how they want to power the vessel. For example, a pair of 200 kW electric motors can run the boat. There is also up to 2,132 kW of diesel power. Solar is also another way the boat can make energy with the GX34 being able to fit 46 PV panels around its superstructure and upper surfaces. This alone can input enough power to help run the hotel load for up to 2 days. If the batteries run low the generators kick in and top up in approximately 3 hours. The GX34 will be able to travel long distances with its efficient hull and efficient speeds. Top speed though is carded at 16-knots with a 12-knot cruise speed. At 6-knots and time on your hands, the vessel can theoretically travel for 10,000 nautical miles.
  3. The 8th Moonen Martinique is presently under construction with delivery available for September. The yard just released interior renderings of how the Vripack interior will finalize. Here, we take a look at a couple of the renders to attain a sense of the design language. The interior overall is Creamy tones with darker browns and pops of blue hues for highlight.
  4. There is a 5-cabin layout with the master suite on the main deck. A full-beam Owner’s Stateroom measures (37m² or 3,98ft²) on the Main Deck; featuring forward-facing windows with breathtaking 180-degree views. Blue as an accent is a holistic theme in the design onboard and even in the master suite this shines through the rug and pillow accents. Low-profile built-ins for storage give a sleek overall look, reducing the bulky appearance of furniture while still keeping things practical for the owner.
  5. Even as the furniture style changes the message stays continual. Cream tones with blue tones in the throws and upholstery. The TV wall makes a bold statement with shelves and walls specifically popping in blue to remind of the theme Vripack concocted.
  6. Benetti has released more information and renders on the Project LIFE design. This was originally unveiled at the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show but as a concept. The vessel has ready to be built should an owner come onboard. We saw more information at the 2024 MYS and now further details and renders unveiled at 2025 PBIBS. Previously, one would think presenting an 85-meter design at the PBIBS might be a little much but Benetti sees something else. Espen Oeino is the exterior designer with Francois Zuretti tackling the interior design.
  7. Project LIFE is envisioned to be of diesel-electric propulsion. There are HVO capabilities along with solar opportunities. PV integration is anticipated to power appliances, the toys and tenders. Even at 85-meters there are 6 cabins for 12 guest. The interior design is one to be light and soft to and also to blend the boundaries between interior and exterior.
  8. The yacht will have a massive beach club which is to have access to the exterior on three sides. Two massive shell doors serve as waterside platforms with the added advantage to connect directly to the swim platform. No need to walk through the beach club to access the back hatch to enter the swim platform area. With the fully glass-bottomed pool directly above on the aft main deck, this allows dappled natural light to permeate the beach club.
  9. Majesty Yachts appear to be expanding their presence at U.S Shows with the U.S debut of the Majesty 120 and Majesty 140. The Majesty 120 at the PBIBS this year is "Abigail", a 2024 specimen launched in November. The Majesty 140 unit that is there is brand new and basically left the yard for Palm Beach. The Majesty 120 embodies innovation, luxury, and advanced engineering. Designed with comfort and functionality in mind, this 37.5-meter (123-foot) vessel is crafted from lightweight composite materials, allowing for smooth cruising even in low-draft areas. With a 2.25-meter draft, it is perfectly suited for a range of cruising destinations. MTU 16V 2000 M97Ls power Abigail to a top speed of 20-knots with a 1,500 nautical mile range at 12-knots.
