  1. Day 2: Highlights Of The Dubai International Boat Show
The 2025 edition of the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) is underway for another day and we continue to cover some of the highlights emerging from the show. This time we have the introduction of the Sunseeker Superhawk 55 that was specially 'designed for the UAE' region. Cantieri di Pisa unveiled more information including renders for the interior of the Akhir 44. The Superyacht Service Center by Gulf Craft has announced a strategic collaboration with Cimolai Technology.
  2. UK brand Sunseeker introduced the Superhawk 55 in a variant that was developed and designed specifically for the UAE region. It is the first time that the Superhawk 55 has been displayed in the region. The yard was also supposed to have the 88 Yacht and the 74 Sport Yacht on display at DIBS this year. LOA is 56.2-feet with a beam of 16.2-feet and fuel capacity is around 1,800 LT.
  3. On the second day of the DIBS the Superyacht Service Center of Gulf Craft announced a purposefully strategic partnership with Cimolai Technology. They are a global leader in precision lifting solutions. Signing this agreement will permit the realization of the acquisition of a large Travel Lift for the Service Center. It is a state-of-the-art 600-ton Marine Boat Hoist. Designed to handle the increasing scale and complexity of modern superyachts, the 600-ton hoist provides a seamless solution for vessel maintenance, from routine servicing to complex refit projects. "We are honoured to partner with Gulf Craft in shaping the future of yacht servicing. Our precision-engineered lifting solutions are designed to meet the unique demands of next-generation superyachts, ensuring exceptional operational efficiency, safety, and reliability. This collaboration underscores our shared commitment to innovation and excellence, reinforcing our position as leaders in the manufacturing of heavy-duty lifting and handling equipment," said Claudio Carlon, Sales Manager at Cimolai Technology.
  4. The Akhir 44 has also been redesigned and Cantieri di Pisa has released the interior renderings at this year's Dubai International Boat Show. The Akhir models have been around for a long time and to keep things fresh there was a restyling. The reimagined Akhir line was actually initially introduced in September at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival. Now we get to see interiors renders for the said vessel. Pulina Exclusive Interiors were responsible for the interior design.
  5. "A deliberate contrast between warm materials like bleached Oak and cold metal and steel finishes gives the settings a sporty, technological look," explained designer Alessandro Pulina. He added that the "fresh, neutral" colour palette resulted in lighter, more airy and therefore more liveable interiors. For the exterior design many of the previous facets to the design were retained even though the overall look has been kept, paying homage to the Akhir line of the past.
