Can some one tell me where the idle is supposed to be set ? Smooth when in sync. Sync off one motor too low. Thanks Carver 500

    Mechanical or electronic (CR)?
A model number would be most helpful.

600 is your minimum no load idle.
With a few hours on the engines, I expect your governor to be a lil loose and late.
Any issues shifting in/out of gear (dock side maneuvers), 650 RPM may be preferred.

Trusting the helm tachs is another issue.
Always verify RPM with a hand tack on the flywheel or balancer.

Where are you hiding (or near) in Florida?
