The plan as it stands is for wife and I to use our future boat....we are pretty sure a 60' Hatteras for the 6 months of winter all around the Carib. Coming back to land in late May. Our first thought is that we would want to take her out of the water for the summer/hurricane months and then re-float her in the fall for the next cruising season. Since we will be mostly in California for the summer with the boat in the tropics, would it be cost effective to have the boat pulled instead of leaving it in the water and having someone to maintain her while we are gone? Would the storage in Florida be most cost effective than in a tropical port? We would have a condo in Ambergris Cay in Belize, but I don't even know if they have dry stroage facilities.
    What are your thoughts?
