Greetings fellow yacht enthusiasts, I was wondering if i may find some more information on the 1988 cosca gemini 70. It has somewhat similar lines to the cantieri di pisa akhir "s" model and was wondering if it was the same designer? Also any other information that the knowledge base here can provide me on this "one-off" yacht would be supremely appreciatiated as info on this yacht has been difficult to gather. Perhaps some of you may have even been on it and can share your experiences. Thank you in advance, Jim http://www.**************/core/list...rency=USD&access=Public&listing_id=75162&url=
Wooden yacht, built in 1988 by the shipyard Cosca Limite sull'Arno (Akhir21) of Viareggio. Currently the yacht is offered for sale for a price between Euro 400k-500k.
Thank you for taking the time to answer TK. I actually do know the basics of this particular yacht or more specifically what has been mentioned in the various brokerage descriptions but was rather looking for information from folks that perhaps may have had some first hand experiences with this particular yacht. ie ride quality and construction quality, interior configuration, and /or known issues etc. The yacht purportedly has been a charter yacht for many years. I figured that some of the yacht's guests or technicians from Italy that may have worked on it, may also be members here and perhaps were willing to provide some more color about this one-off yacht. Again thank you TK and best wishes for your new toy. I saw your posts and was "WOWED" by the new Fairline.
Thank you Jage. From the pictures I have seen that particular Cosca Gemini 70 does really look good. Although she an '88, but she does look very modern. I do like her design.
I agree, but the problem of obtaining reliable information on it, keeps me "just looking" at it. However, that should not be a surprise for a "one-off" build. Perhaps, the next time I go to Greece, I'll make a stop in Rome to get a closer look at it. I know you will have some nice summer adventures with your new toy in the med. Enjoy! Jim
Thanks again Jage, and next time you plan cruising in our area, please let me know. We might bump into each other .
