Went to replace the Danfoss sensor and wanted to check the wiring that is in the female harness connector as I did once before and found a loose wire that was causing the sensor to shutoff. Today, I could not figure out how to get into the female connection to check wiring. Pictures below of connector. How do you open up the connector to check the wiring connections.

Loosen the center screw and the cord connector.
Push the cord towards the cord connector and gently pry the female flat piece out of the enclosure that the cord connector is attached to.
You kind of pull the square cube enclosure back up the cord which will expose the wire terminations within.

Ok sort of did that but will try it with a little more force on the existing old sensor. I'm not able to remove the sq cover on the new connector either. With it being 90 degree no way to really push on it without any wires.

Okay great. I had the screw out and actually tried slightly prying on that slot but was unsuccessful and didn't want to break it. That's how I thought I remembered doing it a few years ago but it wasn't coming out easily so I backed off.
    Thanks

Practicing on the old ( bad ) one is a good idea too.
We call these IEC type connectors but we are not in the marine industry, they are probably called something else.
