  1. Dixon Yacht Design; Ken Freivokh design 80M 'Mantis' sail yacht

The design is for a ketch-rigged sailing yacht of 80-meters with collaborative work by Dixon Yacht Design and Ken Freivokh. Dixon Yacht Design worked on the overall concept and design of the vessel while Ken Freivokh ran ideas and penned the interior.

The large sailing yacht has three decks that are all connected via a central staircase. On the outside, every effort was made to conceal or hide features that would take away from the smooth and clean stem to stern lines. Features like life-rafts and winches are all hidden from view.

80-meter 'Mantis' has bulwarks with folding balconies that jettison on demand allowing better views from inside and extra relaxing space. Shell door also opens up and creates a sea-side relaxing beach platform, while on the stern, swim platform -which is normally concealed into the hull- is put into operation to make a tender dock or platform for easy access to the sea. The 80-meter sailing yacht is a spacious design with wide open decks and ample accommodation. There is an owner's suite, two double cabins, a twin and another guest double.
