Blohm & Voss unveils 88-meter superyacht concept "Ice"​

Does the yacht in the rendering below look familiar? It probably does because it may resemble that of the B+V "Palladium". It is no coincidence perhaps that Michael Leach is also behind the exterior styling of the 88-meter "Ice".

At the end of July YF alerted you to the intended showcasing of the yacht at the MYS. The revealing of the superyacht concept for the 88-meter Ice was made on the start of the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) at Blohm & Voss' stand. The new concept is geared to be MCA compliant and with this is expected to accommodate twelve guests in six staterooms.

The concept was unveiled with a scale model of the proposed. Although the vessel is large (88-meters), she was developed to deal with MCA rules instead of SOLAS stipulations. The styling is individualistic however, the overall concept is based on the 96-meter Palladium.
