The 46-meter Marco Polo series yacht "Mazu" has now made it into the U.S. She was recently shipped there from Hong Kong atop a cargo ship. She turned up in Fort Lauderdale in early July, she is at the Rybovich yard being spruced up for the FLIBS where she will make her U.S debut.

Her bottom needs doing! Probably one of the reasons why she is at Rybovich.

    What A Ride!

With commissioning complete hull #5033, the new Alpha 76 Flybridge, is stretching her legs on the Atlantic, with effortless performance at 37 knots in tight banked turns she provides a fabulous ride and exceptional maneuverability. The Alpha Flybridge is a compliment to her sister Alpha 76 Express in handling and speed proving her to be a true thoroughbred. Our hats off to the Alpha 76 Flybridge!

The Cheoy Lee Alpha Series steps beyond the traditional Cheoy Lee. With this in mind we decided to go "Out Of the Box" and expose the line to people who enjoy things that go fast, like the Alpha Series.
Cheoy Lee will participate in the P1 Powerboat race Series here in the US over the 2013 Summer. Log onto p1superstock.com for the latest news and schedule. Cheoy Lee invites all their friends and fans to join us at the races.:)

Geez Gene, you're down to a boat with only one motor? Next thing you know, we'll be pushing 60 (years, not mph) and putting around on pontoon boats telling lies about how fast we used to be.

Best of luck this summer! This P1 class is really the purest form of racing, much like IROC. Driver skill displaces cubic dollars!

How ironic, no sooner than I replied to your post, a friend sends me a pic of a boat at a gas station in Stuart, exclaiming... "What has this world come to? A white racing motor!"

    Qing

Qing is the name of the last ruling dinasty of the chinese emperors. If you have visited the PR of China frequently in the past, you will have noticed the new tradition based nationalism in China. Because of their economical success, chinese people have started contemplating about their far history and their roots. That is the reason, you will find more and more evidence in their homes and bublic buildings about their history. Taking names from that era is only one example.

The chinese word 'Qing' has got several different meanings/ ideographs... at the moment I know of at least 5 and there are many more. For Instance it also means Love/Affection, which also could fit here very well.

The chinese language uses 4 different pronounciations for their syllables. For example the word Li has got 90 different meanings ( ideographs) and 40 of them with the same pronounciation. So to get the meaning (without the context) it is essential to either know the ideograph or phonetic script. At least for those who are not native speakers.
You see Chinese is by no means simple but that makes it interesting.

Just a side note from someone who is learning chinese. ;)
