    Considering buying a boat with Caterpillar ACERT C 32 engines. Just ran across an article about class action lawsuits being filed over truck engines ACERT C 13 & C 15 engines about defects. The article says Caterpillar has discontinued the ACERT line. Is this true for marine engines as well? Do these marine engines have problems?

    CAT had some issues with the C15s and I believe discontinued those. However the C18's and C32 ACERTS and non acerts are completely solid motors. Buy with confidence. A pair of 1650 HP burns 140 gph at 80% load C32
