    Anyone know the rough cost for the 1st 1000hr service on 1999 3412c motors? And any recommendations for Cat service guys in Florida?

    1000 hour service on 22 year old engines???

    not sure what the costs will be as it s been a while since I ran a 3412 boat... I remember a 3000 hour service done for about $4k per side back in 2010 or so

    in south Florida, call Southshore Diesel in Miami . Marcello is the owner and a very good cat surveyor. Him and his guys are ver good and reasonable. Used him for 12 years on 3412w and C32s. I only used Pantropic once. That was enough.

    Can you be a little more specific, like what city??? Florida is a big state as far as waterfront goes, West coast of Florida could be Ft. Myers or Pensacola.

    Looking at purchasing 58' Viking EB with the 3412's and bringing the boat to the Fort Myers area for two months, then taking it back to the Great Lakes for the summer. I want to do the 1000hrs service in Florida before the trip back.
