Looking at the subject boat, cannot find a diesel Santego in the McKnew/Parker book.

I see. Someone on another forum suggested the McKnew/Parker book as gospel.

I could not give these or any guide, any seriousness on resale price information.
They are just guides, all poor at that.

A 34 year old boat is only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it.

<------ Ours was 25 years old when we purchased her,, 20 years ago.
I can tell you about owning an old boat but it would lock up Carls server.

Sorry, I am a little stressed, can't believe I'm actually thinking of buying a power boat.

If it hadn't been for the big stick and the laundry we would have never made down to the Caribbean or up to New England and points in between. Unfortunately old age, more precisely old knees, are making that sort of thing very difficult these days. That particular Carver, yes I know, it's a Carver, is ideal because everything is pretty much on one level.

I bought the McK.......... book not for pricing info but because it has diagrams of the boat interiors. Some of those details are not always obvious in the listings.
