Does anyone have experience with transporting a Carver 325/326? I am considering purchasing this boat and will need it transported. How difficult is it to remove the Arch and hardtop? Is this all that needs to be removed or does the bridge also need to be removed to meet height restrictions. I would appreciate any information on this subject.

My choice is always to transport the boat on her own bottom if possible. Depending on the distance, and the number of states you need to traverse (wide load permits needed for each), dis-assembly, re-assembly all adds up. What's your starting and finishing points?

It isn't that difficult to remove and replace. It may well require and be easiest to remove the entire flybridge. Keep in mind most were shipped initially by truck. Joule is one of the major shippers used. I just recommend the same people removing and replacing.

Now, the other question that is important is from where, to where.
