Some friends are coming into town for the first weeks of May and are looking to charter a captained sailboat for a day sail during their stay.

Please advise any recommendations or offers to take a couple and a small party of friends out into the Atlantic for some fun in the sun, cruising, snorkeling, eating, and of course consuming cocktails!

why dont you take a short drive to miami and do a charter on the bay instead? smoother water, more places to stop for a swim, etc... what size boat are you looking for?

here is one... I know the broker, very reliable Miami yacht charters, Miami party yachts, Island Packet 46 Sailboat if you're looking for something bigger, i'm sure he can find it.

I can't believe I didn't mention Conrad's boat! Indeed he runs a very nice operation, pretty busy too which is always a good sign.

That's the right call; if the weather isn't perfect, you won't want to go on the outside, and in Lauderdamdale, that means no option except motor crusing on the ICW - which is an enjoyable experience in itself, but not on a chartered blow-bote. Biscayne Bay will almost always be avaialble even if it's "sporting" on the outside.
