I'm looking for a Captain J that may have been captain on a yacht called Libra II in 1980. Any information is helpful. Thank you!

Are you a bill collector, attorney or bounty hunter?

None of those glamorous positions I'm afraid. I saw this cold case spotlight on Dateline recently, and thought I'd try to help the Snow sisters try to solve what happened to their mother, Nancy Snow, who dissapeared in 1980. Wanted to ask if their was a Captain J who may have seen her or know of her that can provide any additional information into the case. https://www.nbcnews.com/dateline/co...mysterious-annapolis-disappearance-rcna178477

I was only 4 years old then, but can tell you all about that case!

Why do you think you could find someone who's name you don't even know 44 years later???

If you were only 4 years old at the time, then you are not the Capt J in the articles about the case. Her house sitter at the time said she came home from a campaign she was working on in St. Louis, packed a few things and met a mysterious "Captain J" in an ally way in Annapolis to join a crew taking a yacht for delivery in the bahamas (maybe called the Libra II) and was never seen again. Not sure if the story is true or not, but it's worth a shot to look into it. How long its beeen doesn't matter when a loved one dissapears, especially to the daughters of Nancy. Cold cases get solved years later if new information surfaces. People can come forward years later. Sorry to have bothered you.

Willamena - sorry you didn't find the information you were looking for, but thanks for checking in on YF. I'm not suggesting you give up, but I would think that YF might have been your most reasonable and best shot at finding the right Capt J.

    Good luck!
